A Black Day in History

Dear fellow bloggers,

I have been hearing and witnessing the appalling news of attacks-the worst ever to hit the Uk home soil.Such news just makes me numb to the core, thinking about the families affected by such horrendous and "cowardly" showcase of aggression.

I deeply wonder what such terrorist agencies can acheive by destroying the lives of innocent people.

Just wanted to voice my concern and pass my warm sincere sympathies to the victims.

Hi Mubs and I-club7 blog!

Tony here (aka Firasse / Abu Firasse / Abu Sheherazade), a British national, Muslim convert, married to an Iraqi, home base Watford (30 kms north of London), long-term Abu Dhabi resident with three daughters living in the UK (one a medical student at Imperial College, London) - so if anyone can see all sides of the question, then I am a prime candidate.

However, reason and logic do not come into it. Nothing can justify the indiscriminate slaughter perpetrated yesterday in London. These evil, anonymous criminals deserve to roast in hell. Seek out your enemy and fight him face to face for what you believe in. No religion, no cause, no injustice will be righted by murdering and maiming innocent members of the public. London is such a cosmoploitan city that "Anglo Saxon Crusaders" were as likely to be killed or injured as fellow Muslims, people of African/Asian origin.

Will all this change the resolve of TB or GWB? Will it improve public opinion for a more informed opinion of Islam and the problems of the Islamic world? Not a jot, my dear bloggers.

We, that is you and I dear reader, must carry on and not be deterred by such inhuman, cowardly killers who masquarade under the banner of Islam and profane the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and the timeless message of understanding and tolerance written in the Holy Qu'ran.

Well, if Mubs' posting, my comment and recent events in London do not spark a response, then this club is an extremely dull one of which I don't want to be a member (to paraphrase Groucho Marx).

Come on guys, react!

I'll be inviting my latest BC class to join this weblog and their interest and enthusiasm might spark you into action.

Happy Friday!

Tony

God Bless you Sir.

Iam very much worried about the situation in London. After this beastly episode of terror I am thinking of how Londoners will react to the Muslims in the city.

Already i heard on news that the BNP(British National Party) have said that this attack means "war on the Muslims to drive them out of Britain".

I DO NOT believe such terrorists to be Muslims-where in Islam does it impart suicide killings and bombing of innocent people to be rationale?

My parents too, are concerned about me getting admission in any Uk university. But like you, they are optimistic and pray that the repurcussions would not cast a dark shadow over the future of many aspiring students who are looking forward for a better life by wanting to study in UK.
